Thank you for trying out the demo copy of Image Alchemy.

This demo copy is intentionally limited to converting images which are
640x480 pixels and smaller. The retail version has no such restriction
(there is a practical limit of approximately 2500x2500 pixels for the
MS-DOS version and 65000x65000 for the 386 Enhanced version).

To install Image Alchemy copy all the files from this diskette onto a
sub-directory on your hard drive.

The documentation for Image Alchemy, ALCHEMY.DOC, is contained in the
self-extracting archive MANUAL.EXE. After extraction the file may be
printed on a printer or viewed using a text editor.

Please be aware that the ALCHEMY.DOC file is over 200 pages; you might
want to save paper and only print those sections that you need. For
best results when printing use a 12 point fixed space font, and make
sure that your printer is set to not ignore formfeeds.

  1. Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!

  2. This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.

  3. But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
