Full Description of File

dmp1666r - patches DOOM.WAD v1.666 to correct the E3M9 sector error.
Before using this program, make a backup copy of DOOM.WAD. This
utility must be used with the DOOM 1.666 registered wad from iD
software (patch the registered 1.2 wad with iDs 1.666 patch).
This utility must be in the same directory as DOOM.WAD (usually
your normal DOOM directory) and DOOM.WAD must be writeable (not
read only). This program simply changes the byte at offset 0026F90E
from a "06" to a "00", fixing the "P_PlayerInSpecialSector" error
in E3M9.
