RECOGNIZE AND SERVICE A REQUEST MADE BY THE PARALLEL
DEVICE

J202 ENABLES COM1 OR COM2(THE SERIAL PORT). EITHER IRQ4 (COM1)
OR IRQ3 (COM2) CAN BE CONFIGURED BY THE PLACEMENT OF THIS
JUMPER. TO SELECT COM1 INSTALL A JUMPER AT PINS *2 AND 3;
TO SELECT COM2 INSTALL A JUMPER AT PINS 1 AND 2. IT IS SET
FOR COM1 AT THE FACTORY

J203 USED TO DETERMINE THE LIGHT PIN POLARITY. NOT SUPPORTED BY
ZDS- *NO JUMPER IS INSTALLED AT THE FACTORY. SETTINGS- FOR
POSITIVE PULSE, INSTALL A WIRE JUMPER BETWEEN PINS 1 AND
2; FOR NEGATIVE GOING PULSE, INSTALL A WIRE BETWEEN PINS 2
AND 3

J204 USED TO ESTABLISH THE VERTICAL/COMPOSITE SYNC POLARITY FOR
AN EXTERNAL MONITOR. FOR *POSITIVE SYNC POLARITY, INSTALL

J205 ESTABLISHES THE HORIZONTAL SYNC POLARITY FOR AN EXTERNAL
MONITOR. FOR *POSITIVE SYNC, INSTALL A JUMPER BETWEEN PINS
1 AND; FOR NEGATIVE SYNC, INSTALL A JUMPER BETWEEN PINS 2
AND 3

J206 USED TO SELECT EITHER A VERTICAL-ONLY OR COMPOSITE
(VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL) SYNC SIGNAL FOR THE EXTERNAL AND
INTERNAL MONITORS. A CIRCUIT BOARD FOIL SELECTS THE
VERTICAL SYNC SIGNAL. IF A COMPOSITE SYNC SIGNAL IS
REQUIRED, INSTALL A JUMPER BETWEEN PIN LOCATIONS 2 AND 3,
AND CUT THE FOIL BETWEEN PIN LOCATIONS 1 AND 2. THE
VERTICAL SYNC SIGNAL IS SELECTED BY A FOIL BETWEEN
LOCATIONS 1 AND 2. IF THE FOIL HAS BEEN CUT AND THE
VERTICAL SYNC SIGNAL IS REQUIRED, REPLACE THE CUT FOIL
WITH A WIRE JUMPER BETWEEN PIN LOCATIONS 1 AND 2

NOTE: JUMPER LOCATION J206 WORKS IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
JUMPERS AT J204 AND J216. J206 ESTABLISHES WHETHER THE
SIGNAL WILL BE THE VERTICAL-ONLY OR COMPOSITE SYNC. J204
SELECTS THE POLARITY OF THE EXTERNAL MONITOR AND J216
SELECTS THE POLARITY OF THE INTERNAL MONITOR. INDIVIDUAL

J207 SELECTS THE SOURCE OF THE VERTICAL SYNC SIGNAL. FOR OUTPUT
FROM GATE ARRAY U211, INSTALL A JUMPER BETWEEN PIN
LOCATIONS 2 AND 2; FOR OUTPUT FROM PIN 5 OF U259, INSTALL
A JUMPER BETWEEN PIN LOCATIONS *1 AND 2

J208 NO JUMPER INSTALLED; NOT USED IN FUNCTIONAL UNITS. ITS
SOLE PURPOSE IS TO AID IN MANUFACTURING THE WIRE BOARD

PIN 3 OF THE CRT CONTROLLER. TO DISABLE THE STROBE SIGNAL,
INSTALL A JUMPER BETWEEN PIN LOCATIONS 2 AND 3

J212 USED TO SELECT THE HORIZONTAL SYNC SIGNAL SOURCE. FOR
OUTPUT FROM GATE ARRAY U211, INSTALL A JUMPER BETWEEN PIN
LOCATIONS *1 AND 2; FOR OUTPUT FROM PIN 13 OF U259,
INSTALL A JUMPER BETWEEN PIN LOCATIONS 2 AND 3

J214 USED TO INCREASE THE PULSE WIDTH OF THE COLUMN ADDRESS
STROBE SIGNAL FROM PIN 19 OF THE GATE ARRAY.
*NO JUMPER IS INSTALLED, SO THE FALLING EDGE OF THE CAS
SIGNAL OCCURS WHEN IT SHOULD, MAKING SURE THE ROW ADDRESS
STROBE PULSES HAVE ADEQUATE TIME TO REFRESH THE DATA
WITHIN THE RAM BANKS

J215 USED TO SELECT THE POLARITY OF THE INTERNAL MONITOR'S
HORIZONTAL SYNC SIGNAL. FOR A POSITIVE HORIZONTAL SYNC
SIGNAL , INSTALL A JUMPER BETWEEN PINS 2 AND 3;
FOR A NEGATIVE SYNC SIGNAL, INSTALL A JUMPER BETWEEN PINS
1 AND 2 (MARKED WITH A "+" ON THE BOARD)

J216 USED TO SELECT THE POLARITY OF THE INTERNAL MONITOR'S
