ANSIT! version 1.00
There are a lot of ANSI drivers on the PD/SW
market and most of them are much faster than
ANSI.SYS - but which one is the fastest?
ANSIT! will answer that. It's a benchmark
program testing how fast your machine (or
your current ANSI driver, actually) can
execute ANSI escape sequences, screen writes
and scrolls. Support available from author.
*** AND... It's PoleWare - It's FreeWare! ***

ANSIT - The complete ANSI workout! Version (1.00)
This is The Complete ANSI benchmark!
Did you ever wonder what ANSI.SYS replacement driver, software BIOS
or whatever-screen-speedup program that's the fastest ?
Now, you don't have to wonder anymore!
You can perform a test program of five tests, measuring all ANSI
escape sequences of importance as well as BIOS output and screen
scrolling, you can run the tests separately and even create your
own custom benchmarks in your favorite ANSI editor.
Suitable for anyone that's interested in getting a faster output.
Absolutely necessary for ANSI-phreax, ANSI-artists and programmers
developing any ANSI- or BIOS output related software.
When this archive left me it included:

README.1ST This file
ANSIT.EXE The benchmark program.
ANSITDOC.ENG English Documentation
ANSITDOK.SVE Swedish Documentation
ANSITUT.DOC A breif ANSI tutorial
HISTORY.DOC Beta-Gamma revision history
FILE_ID.DIZ Upload description
* These three files did not make it in time for the release.
* They appear in the doc's but are NOT included.
*
* INDEX.RES Reference Index file with results from four
* ANSI drivers on a 12 MHz AT286
* TYPEME.ANS Animated ANSI example file.
* REF.RES Good'ol ANSI.SYS test results on different machines
Feedback on the results from this first version _is_ appreciated!!!
ANSIT resultfiles and bug repports may be Netmailed to me.
Please include info about your machine and ANSI driver.
