This is version 1.1 of sgmls, an SGML parser based on the arcsgml
parser materials which were written by Charles F. Goldfarb. This
distribution contains only MS-DOS executables and formatted
documentation. The source code is available for anonymous ftp from
ftp.jclark.com in the directory /pub/sgmls.

The file license.doc contains the license which applies to arcsgml
and accordingly to sgmls. My modifications to arcsgml are in the
public domain.

Please report any bugs to me. When reporting bugs, please mention
that you are using MS-DOS version 1.1 and include a complete
self-contained file that will allow me to reproduce the bug.

  1. Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!

  2. This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.

  3. But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
