MARKETING AND DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT
------------------------------------

Software Vision Corporation is the sole copyright holder of EnVision
Publisher, and it reserves all rights to the program. However, the shareware
version of EnVision Publisher may be distributed, as long as the following
restrictions are observed:

1. EnVision Publisher must be distributed in its entirety and without any
modifications.
2. EnVision Publisher is NOT to be distributed or sold with its reference
manual, tutorial, or other supported documentation in printed format.
The EnVision Publisher manual and tutorial is on-disk in text format,
and it must be distributed this way.
3. EnVision Publisher is NOT to be used as an enticement to purchase
another product without prior written permission from Software Vision.
4. EnVision Publisher cannot be rented or leased.
5. No third-party entity can collect royalties from the distribution of
EnVision Publisher.
6. EnVision Publisher may not be distributed by any for-profit entity
which does not disclose the following points in their literature:
a. The cost paid for the evaluation shareware disks is to cover
the disk vendor's distribution and marketing costs, and does
not cover the cost of the software.
b. Additional payment to the software publisher (author) is
required if the user continues to use a shareware program
beyond the evaluation period.
7. Unless you received EnVision Publisher directly from Software Vision
Corp., we require all disk and rack vendors who intend to distribute
EnVision Publisher to notify us before doing so. Please specify the
program version you have. This is necessary to ensure that all disk
and rack vendors have the latest version of the program. This does
not apply to BBS operators.
8. Any entity (disk vendors, rack vendors, BBS's, etc.) already
distributing older versions of EnVision Publisher must replace the
old version in their library with the new version (whether acquired
directly from Software Vision, or through a different channel) within
30 days of receipt/acquisition of the new version.
9. Rack vendors can distribute EnVision Publisher ONLY under signed
contract. Please contact us to obtain a copy of the contract.

These restrictions apply to anyone who wishes to distribute EnVision
Publisher, including commercial disk vendors, rack vendors, BBS operators,
user groups, or individuals. Clause 7 does not apply to BBS operators.

Failure to observe this Agreement constitutes a violation of the copyright
law and several international trade agreements.

This agreement covers this and all prior versions of EnVision Publisher.
This agreement supersedes all prior "Marketing and Distribution Agreements".

NOTE TO DISK VENDORS
--------------------

If you wish to include EnVision Publisher in your catalog, and would like a
picture of the screen, we can provide you with several bit-mapped screen
images in PCX or TIFF format. Alternatively, feel free to produce your own
screen images directly from the program. Also, on the shareware disks there
is a PCX image called SCREEN.PCX which you may want to include in your
catalog.

EnVision Publisher comes on two disks, and it includes an INSTALL program.
If you did NOT receive your disks directly from us, please ensure that you
have all the files. The files that make up EnVision Publisher are listed at
the end of this file.

NOTE TO BBS OPERATORS
---------------------

If you are a BBS operator, please review the "EnVision Publisher Disk
Contents" section below to ensure that you have all the files.

Please post EnVision Publisher with the following keywords:

ENVISION PUBLISHING DTP TYPESETTING LAYOUT PRINT FONT SHAREWARE ASP

We recommend that you archive all the files on disk 1 (see below) in a
file called EVP154A.*, and all the files on disk 2 (see below) in a file
called EVP154B.*, where the "*" stands for (ZIP, ARC, LZH, EXE, etc.).
However, before you do this you should expand the two self-extracting
files EVP154A.EXE and EVP154B.EXE described below (please note that the
BBS EVP154A and EVP154B files are not the same as the vendor EVP154A.EXE
and EVP154B.EXE described in the "EnVision Publisher Disk Contents" below,
because that the BBS files contain all the vendor files, including the
INSTALL and the READ-ME files.)

What reviewers have said about EnVision Publisher
.................................................

"This is an excellent program that's full of features that simply
haven't been available in Shareware until now. Because of the
programs' excellence, I'm giving it the Shareware Magazine
Editor's Choice Award."
Michael E. Callahan (a.k.a. Dr. File Finder)
SHAREWARE MAGAZINE, Nov/Dec 1992 issue

"There are few layouts that you could not create with EnVision
Publisher. One way or another, this program gives you the tools
to place text and graphics anywhere on your page with all the
styling options most of us will ever need, and that's what
desktop publishing is all about."
Steven Enzer
SHAREWARE UPDATE MAGAZINE, October 1992 issue.

"If you're looking to assemble a newsletter, publication, or
other similar document, this is the best piece of shareware
for the task. You'd do well to give EnVision Publisher a spin."
Preston Gralla
COMPUTER SHOPPER, April 1993 issue.

ENVISION PUBLISHER DISK CONTENTS
--------------------------------

If you did NOT obtain your copy of EnVision Publisher directly from us,
please check to see that the files on your disks are as listed below. If
they are not, please contact us so you can obtain the proper disks (also,
please tell us from where you obtained the disks, so we can supply your
source with the proper disks as well).

The disk vendor version of EnVision Publisher comes on 2 (two) 360k disks.

NOTE: EnVision Publisher will NOT run if ANY files are missing. You must
~~~~~ not remove or rename any of the files comprising the EnVision
Publisher. (Such an action also constitutes a severe violation of our
copyright).
Disk 1 should contain these files:
----------------------------------
__DISK__.1 - disk 1 identification file
INSTALL.EXE - install program
EVP154A.EXE - 1-st EnVision self-extracting file: see contents below
READ-ME - short readme file
READ-ME.BAT - readme file viewer
GO.BAT - readme file viewer
Disk 2 should contain these files:
----------------------------------
__DISK__.2 - disk 2 identification file
EVP154B.EXE - 2-nd EnVision self-extracting file: see contents below
READ-ME - short readme file
READ-ME.BAT - readme file viewer
GO.BAT - readme file viewer
...........................
IMPORTANT: Below are listed the contents of the 2 self-extracting files on
--------- the disks. Please note that the contents of these files MUST be
as listed below, and the names of the two self-extracting files
must be EVP154A.EXE and EVP154B.EXE respectively, otherwise
the INSTALL program will not be able to install properly. (To
see the contents of these two files, copy each one in a separate
subdirectory, and run it -- it will self-extract).
Optionally, you may copy all the files on disks 1 and 2 to a single
(3.5" or high-density 5.25") diskette. As long as the files are
left unchanged, the INSTALL program will still work.
Note: we used LHA 2.13 to compress the files.
