This is a set of programs which may be of use to anyone working in DBase III or Foxbase+. They are designed to be used together and to share common .DBF and .IDX files. They were originally created for TJKM Pleasanton, CA. by myself over a summer to replace an old, hideous, and cumbersome program to track EMPLOYEE hours, PROJECTS and EXPENSES.
I recommend that a software developer with these applications in mind study a hardcopy of the code carefully and borrow, adapt, or improvise. It may save you some hours and grief. The code is as streamlined as possible for the old Dbase III interpreter. New packages should improve its performance.
The procedures are all modularized which should also assist study. I hope it all works out well for you.
