db-Express Plus
Version 2.0

You may be asking yourself right now what this program is. Well, it
is a very easy-to-use, powerful, and full-featured dBASE III Plus(tm)
compatible database management system.

db-Express makes working with data easier than you ever thought possible.
Copy data between fields and records with just a key stroke, use
"build-as-you-use" look up tables, run "anywhere" searches, or link to
other databases. You'll find all the tools you need to add, edit,
retrieve and print your data as easily as possible! And if you ever
need extra help, there's an on-line, context sensitive help system.

Other features of db-Express Plus include:

- Window-oriented interface with pull-down menus
- Data validation on a per field basis.
- Query by example searches
- Boolean-style searches
- An easy to use Report Writer
- Full database creation and modification capabilities
- Cataloging of indexes and reports on a per database basis
- Customizable screens
- and much more!

First, db-Express will need about 480 kb memory free in order to
run correctly. Also, make sure that the FILES settings in your
CONFIG.SYS file are set to at least 15. If not, make the change
and reboot the system to activate the change.

db-Express Plus Version 2.0 configures itself automatically upon startup,
so from the directory where db-Express is located, just enter: DBE

You may also start db-Express in Install Mode from the command
line at any time. From the directory where db-Express is located,

The /M switch forces db-Express Plus to start in monochrome mode.

If you already have some pre-existing dBASE III Plus data files, you can
load them into db-Express Plus and see right away how easy using a database
can be. Simply select "Files" from the main menu, then select ""
and enter the directory name where the files are. Highlight the name of
the file you wish to use and press [ENTER].

This is an introductory/demo version of db-Express Plus 2.0 and has a
limitation of adding 50 records to any database file. Short of this
limitation, this copy of db-Express Plus is fully functional.

By registering, you will receive the latest version of the program,
the user manual, and a 30-day money back guarantee. You will also be
entitled to one free upgrade.

If you register the program on or before October 31, 1990, you may do
so for the introductory price of $49.95 ( a $79.95 value). On and
after November 1, 1990, the price of db-Express Plus will be $79.95

Registered users of db-Express Plus will also be eligible for discounts
on future add on products to db-Express, such as "db-Lex" - a program
to read downloaded Lexis/Nexis(tm) files into db-Express.
