. Pressing [A l t - B ] ³A l t ³-³ B ³ once marks one corner of a square or rectangular box. Pressing it ³ ³ ³ ³ a second time marks the opposite corner and highlights everything ÀÄÄÄÙ ÀÄÄÄÙ inside the Block. ÚÄÄÄ¿ ÚÄÄÄ¿ ³ ³ ³ ³ First use [A l t - B ] to mark a block, then position the cursor at the ³A l t ³-³ C ³ Top-Left hand corner of the area where the copy should appear and ³ ³ ³ ³ press [A l t - C ]. ÀÄÄÄÙ ÀÄÄÄÙ ÚÄÄÄ¿ ÚÄÄÄ¿ ³ ³ ³ ³ First use [A l t - B ] to mark a block, then position the cursor at the ³A l t ³-³ M ³ Top-Left hand corner of the area where the block should be moved ³ ³ ³ ³ to and press [A l t - M ] to move the block. The block will remain ÀÄÄÄÙ ÀÄÄÄÙ marked and may be moved again. ÚÄÄÄ¿ ÚÄÄÄ¿ ³ ³ ³ ³ First use [A l t - B ] to mark a block, then press [A l t - F ]. You will ³A l t ³-³ F ³ be asked to type a character, which will then be used to fill the ³ ³ ³ ³ entire block. Escape will abort without changing the block. ÀÄÄÄÙ ÀÄÄÄÙ ÚÄÄÄ¿ ÚÄÄÄ¿ ³ ³ ³ ³ Pressing [A l t - S ] will Clear the Screen. Note: [A l t - R ] will ³A l t ³-³ S ³ restore it if you do it immediately after pressing [A l t - S ] on ³ ³ ³ ³ accident for example. ÀÄÄÄÙ ÀÄÄÄÙ ÚÄÄÄ¿ ÚÄÄÄ¿ ³ ³ ³ ³ Pressing [A l t - R ] immediately after [A l t - S ] will restore the ³A l t ³-³ R ³ screen contents. ³ ³ ³ ³ ÀÄÄÄÙ ÀÄÄÄÙ ÚÄÄÄ¿ ÚÄÄÄ¿ ³ ³ ³ ³ Press [A l t - U ] to UnMark a block which has been marked by [A l t - B ]. ³A l t ³-³ U ³ This may be done at any time before or after a block move, block ³ ³ ³ ³ copy, block shift left or block shift right. ÀÄÄÄÙ ÀÄÄÄÙ ÚÄÄÄ¿ ÚÄÄÄ¿ ³ ³ ³ ³ Block Shift Left: After marking a block with [A l t - B ], pressing ³A l t ³-³F 1 ³ [A l t - F 1 ] will cause everything in the block and to the right of the³ ³ ³ ³ block to be shifted LEFT one position. ÀÄÄÄÙ ÀÄÄÄÙ ÚÄÄÄ¿ ÚÄÄÄ¿ ³ ³ ³ ³ Block Shift Right: After marking a block with [A l t - B ], pressing ³A l t ³-³F 2 ³ [A l t - F 2 ] will cause everything in the block and to the right of the³ ³ ³ ³ block to be shifted RIGHT one position. ÀÄÄÄÙ ÀÄÄÄÙ ÚÄÄÄ¿ ÚÄÄÄ¿ ³ ³ ³ ³ Directory: to view a disk Directory, press [A l t - D ], then when ³A l t ³-³ D ³ prompted on line 25 of the screen, enter the directory and/or ³ ³ ³ ³ wildcards as you normally would in DOS. ÀÄÄÄÙ ÀÄÄÄÙ Special Graphics Characters (use A l t + corresponding key on 10-key Pad).
