AVAILABILITY OF UPDATE TO BORLAND C++ 3.0 AND TURBO C++ FOR WINDOWS
===================================================================
Borland is committed to providing the best development tools
both from a technology and a quality standpoint. We have
recently discovered some problems in the Turbo C++ for Windows
IDE.

These problems have now been fixed in the form of a two patch
disk:

For Turbo C++ for Windows users we have a disk which fixes the
IDE problems.

For Borland C++ 3.0 users we have a disk which fixes the IDE
problems AND some compatibility problems with Winsight due to our
use of an outdated version of a Microsoft DLL (TOOLHELP).

HOW TO RECEIVE THE UPDATE
=========================

In line with our policy to provide the best possible
support and service to our customers, this disk will be mailed
free of charge to all users who request them. All registered
users will automatically receive the update. Any customer
who purchased an upgrade directly from Borland will receive
notification mail of the availability of the patch diskette.

To ensure that you receive your update in the shortest time,
call us now on 1-800-331-0877.

Or to request an update via CompuServe, type "go BorCS" and select
"Send Message to Customer Service". Please give your serial
number, product name, shipping address and daytime phone number.

Turbo C++ for Windows customers should ask for the TCW01 Patch
Disk.

Borland C++ 3.0 or Borland C++ 3.0 and Application Frameworks
customers should ask for the BCP01 Patch.

Please state your preferred disk size.

We look forward to serving you.
