TELEREPLICA LICENCE AGREEMENT

TeleReplica is a set of copyrighted programs developed by Douglas Thomson.
You may, without charge, use and distribute exact copies of TeleReplica
subject to the following limitations:
- You may make and keep as many copies of the TeleReplica files as you
wish.
- You may distribute copies of the TeleReplica files to others provided
you distribute ALL the files listed below and provided NONE of these
files is modified in any way.
- You may charge for such distribution, provided that you inform your
prospective customers that the payment is only for the distribution, and
that their payment is not registration of TeleReplica.
- You may provide TeleReplica along with another product or service, even
if you charge for that product or service, provided that your prospective
customers or clients are aware that they are NOT paying for TeleReplica,
and provided that YOU have registered TeleReplica yourself.
- You may use TeleReplica for as long as you wish prior to registering.
However, you must register your copy as soon as you believe the value you
have gained from TeleReplica exceeds the registration fee. Support from
users will permit improvements to TeleReplica to be made, and may also
result in other products being made available on similar terms.
- TeleReplica is to be registered once for each simultaneous link. Hence
a consultant using one modem to support multiple clients need only
register once (the clients do not need to register at all unless they
use TeleReplica for other purposes), and a company running a local area
network with a single PC connected to a modem to provide access to
multiple users need only register once. However, a company providing
three computers/modems/telephone lines to permit three simultaneous
remote logins via TeleReplica must register three times.
- Since TeleReplica has been made available free of charge for evaluation,
you must agree not to hold Douglas Thomson liable for any damages
resulting from the use of or inability to use this software. Douglas
Thomson specifically disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied,
including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and
fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall Douglas Thomson be
liable for any loss of profit or any other commercial damage, including
but not limited to special, incidental, consequential or other damages.
TeleReplica is not licensed to be used at all in places where this
exclusion is not legal.
- You may NOT distribute the source code, nor any modified version of
TeleReplica you have created from the source files.

  1. Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!

  2. This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.

  3. But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
