Hello, and welcome to Robocomm 4.2! Thank you for evaluating
Robocomm, the ultimate tool for unattended BBS communications. Please
consult the chart below to see how to install this version of the
software on your system.

NEW USER? Robocomm 4.2 comes to you in two archive files,
ROBO42-A.ZIP and ROBO42-B.ZIP. You will need both
of these files to properly install the software.
Unzip both files into a \ROBO subdirectory and then
consult ROBOCOMM.DOC for configuration and usage
instructions.
UPGRADING There is a special file for upgrading from version
FROM 4.1, called ROBO42-U.ZIP. If you have access to
VERSION 4.1? that file, you should use it to upgrade your initial
installation. See the readme.1st file in that ZIP
for further instructions. If you do not have access
to that file, then you may unzip both the A and B
zip files into your Robocomm directory, overwriting
files when prompted. Before running Robocomm 4.1
for the first time, you should erase "HELP.NTX" and
"I_*.DBF". See ROBOCOMM.HST for changes in v. 4.2.
UPGRADING Unzip ROBO42-A.ZIP and ROBO42-B.ZIP into your
FROM existing Robocomm directory, overwriting files when
VERSION 3.x? prompted to do so. Then, run ROBOCOMM.EXE and your
data files will be converted to the new format
automatically. See ROBOCOMM.HST for changes in the
4.0, 4.1 and 4.2 versions.
UPGRADING Sorry -- But, no automatic upgrade procedure is
FROM available. You should install the 4.2 version into
VERSION 2.x a new subdirectory, re-enter your BBS data, and then
OR EARLIER? start fresh with the 4.2 version.
