Here is a program which will add a LOTUS Slashbar look to your PROCOMM
program. Procomm is an excellent program, but it does so much that
making "HOTKEYS" that make sense for all commands was impossible.

To use this program, you will need a copy of SLASHBAR.COM which
was published in PC Magazine VOL 6 NUM 10: May 26. It is definitely
worth a phone call to the Interactive Reader Service to obtain it.

Install the program by executing the following:

>SLASHBAR PROCOMM.BAR (It is memory resident and takes about 2k).
before running PROCOMM.

Initially I wondered if it would be worthwhile, since I had mastered
(for the most part) the PROCOMM commands. When I actually started
using it, I found it to be invaluable. Now all I need is "ALT /"
and I can use single keystrokes, or cursor control to execute
program commands.

Modifications are invited.

Alas, everything is not perfect. I left out TIME (ALT-T). I would
have put it in the Utility Section, but needed to call it something
else besides (T)ime, as (T) was used by translate. If you don't
ever use Translate, substitute the following:

OPTION TIME, "Time PROCOMM in use "
TYPE "{A}T"

where OPTION TRANSLATE is.

Also I did not include FILE UPLOAD and FILE DOWNLOAD since {PGUP} and
{PGDN} are so easily used.
