This .ARC file contains four .COM files, which will hang up a Hayes-Compatible
modem from DOS. The suggested use is to un-arc with PKARC or ARCE and rename
the appropriate .COM file to HUP.COM. Then you can hang up anytime from the
DOS prompt by typing HUP. Enjoy! Contents:

HUP1.COM : Hang up COM1
HUP2.COM : Hang up COM2
HUP3.COM : Hang up COM3
HUP4.COM : Hang up COM4

  1. Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!

  2. This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.

  3. But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
