This system is an MS-DOS (AKA: PC-DOS) machine, those of you
who are familiar with this should feel right at home.

The command HELP will give the information that you are now reading,
or if invoked with a name of a program, will attempt to give
information on the desired program (ie: HELP MAIL to give help on
the mail utility). If you get an error message (ie: MAIL.DOC not
found) if means there is no help available for what you asked for (or
you miss-spelled the command).

HELP INFO for information on the system.
HELP RUN for information on running programs.
HELP NOTES for general purpose notes on various items,
ie: Problems when used from a NON PC-Compatible.
HELP MAIL for information on the mail utilities.
HELP 40 for information if you are using a 40 column screen.
HELP DOS for information on some DOS commands.

For the new users: Each program (or group of programs) are
kept in a "sub-directory". If you wish to use a program, do
the following:
CD \SEESATS <--- This changes the current
directory to 'seesats'
SEESATS <--- This executes the 'seesats'
program

When done: CD \ <--- This returns you to the
'root' directory (where you
started from.

  1. Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!

  2. This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.

  3. But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
