SCREDIT Version 1.05

THE DOCUMENTATION HAS NOT CHANGED SINCE 1.03. IF YOU ALREADY HAVE
PRINTED THE 1.03 DOCUMENTATION, IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO PRINT THE
1.05 VERSION OF THE DOCUMENTATION.

Be sure to read the HISTORY.TXT file to see all of the enhancements and
bug fixes in this version.

For examples, be sure to UNZIP the SAMPLE.ZIP file. Shows how to use
many of the new features.

BEFORE USING: You must run UPDTOBJ.EXE on all pre 1.05 version screen
object files! To run:

UPDTOBJ *.SBJ
UPDTOBJ MYSCREEN.SBJ
UPDTOBJ C:\SCREENS\*.SBJ

Due to some other changes that could not be updated through this
utility, you need to edit each screen, and save it back to disk
before re-linking your program.

Some of the enhancements:
Dates may now be entered in several fashions.
Each time an IOFIELD is created in SCREDIT, a default structure name
is given.
Further support for EGA/VGA.
Define a fill character for your windows.
BarMenus may now have their selections centered within the bar.
All input fields may now use the ALT key to generate any PC
character.
An 'Extra Processing' field type has been added, to allow further
control over screen processing.
Color translation, with a color definition screen that may be
used within your code.
A seperate configuration file is now used, instead of writing the
defaults into SCREDIT.EXE

Be sure to UNZIP/UNARC SAMPLE.ZIP/.ARC for help in using the new features!

All distributed .ZIP files require PKZIP 1.10 or higher to UNZIP them. If
you do not have this version of PKZIP, you may call The Source Connection
and download PKZ110.EXE (PKZIP Version 1.10).

This archive contains the SCREDIT Screen Development System for the
Turbo C 2.0 compiler.
