SC20.HLP is the SoftC Database Library Reference Manual in
Quick-C a context sensitive help file. I know the file will work
with Quick-C 2.0 and 2.5, not sure if it will work on earlier
versions of Quick-C or MSC 5.1 and 6.0.
To use the help file, just put the following SET command in your
batch file that you use to start Quick-C:
SET HELPFILES=C:\QC25\HLP\SC20.HLP
(assuming you put SC20.HLP in a HLP subdirectory of QC25 - change
the path as necessary to match your system configuration)
If you have multiple (additional) help files, separate each with
a ;.
To get to the SoftC contents menu, just type SC and press F1. Or
you could use HELPMAKE to edit the stock Quick-C help files to
include SoftC on its contents screen.
The SC20.HLP file is not locked so anyone who wants to make any
changes (maybe add additional notes), use HELPMAKE to dissolve
SC20.HLP, make your changes and then use HELPMAKE to again encode
the SC20.HLP. All I ask is if anyone finds any errors in my
file, please get back to me with the necessary corrections.
