Production Module for the small memory model, The Foundation
Library, On-Disk Manuals, Example Programs, and One Month of

The Application Streamliner
The Application Streamliner automatically creates
executables that contain only those functions and methods
necessary for the application. This utility builds a map of
an application and based on this map, strips out all methods
and functions that can't be invoked. For object oriented
programming this is essential, because it allows a
programmer to use a class without having to incorporate all
aspects of that class that aren't used in each specific
application.

The Documentation Generator
The Documentation generator automatically generates
technical documentation for an application based on the
source code of the application. The documentation can be in
one of two forms: Ascii text, or word processor ready. Word
processor ready text will imbed codes in the documentation
so that method names, instance variables, parameters, etc.,
can be highlighted in different fonts and styles.

The Production Module
The production Module uses a proprietary message processing
technique developed at Complete Computer Corporation that
makes Complete C programs run faster than they would have if
written in C. The combination of the Application
Streamliner, Static binding, and the Production Module make
for compact fast release software.

The Extended Foundation Classes
The extended class library included methods and classes that
round out the foundation library to make the classes
provided by Complete Computer a true started kit for
programmers. These classes include all the most commonly
used data structures, I/O operations, and general structures
that a programmer uses to create programs. These classes
provide more than a core class hierarchy for every program
they include source code so are a useful start for learning
object-oriented programming techniques.

The Filer Classes
The Filer classes allow objects to be stored and retrieved
from disk. These classes allow the actual objects to be
ported from machine to machine. They also provide for a
generic way to store and retrieve persistent data from
program invocation to invocation.

  1. Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!

  2. This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.

  3. But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
