Welcome to WOMR!
Select a System:
Invoke BBS selection screen. This is the main
entry point into a BBS reader session.

Configuration:
This menu option will allow you to configure WOMR
to your particular system. Default Colors, Paths,
Borders, Screen Size, and other items can be custom
tailored to your system.

Information on WOMR:
Displays information on WOMR, including information
on obtaining support.

Other Commands:

- F1 always displays help about the current screen.

- Pressing the ESC key will, in most places, return you
to the previous screen/menu.

- Alt-X will let you exit WOMR from most places in the
system.

- Alt-J will invoke a DOS shell.

Defaults/Paths
Choose what options and paths that WOMR will
use during operation.

Colors/Borders
Customize WOMR to your liking, by changing
the screen colors and border types.

Screen Size
Change to EGA 43 line mode, or VGA 50 line mode.

Reset Defaults
Reset WOMR to it's default values.

Save Changes
Save any changes you have made to the WOMR
configuration.

Modem configuration is currently not applicable
or available.

Edit the defaults information, and press F10 to
save any changes. Use ESC to abort any changes
made. If you make changes you would like to be
permanent, make sure you "S"ave your configuration
from the Configuration Menu.

Cursor Movement
---------------
Arrow keys - cursor movement
Ctrl-LeftArrow - word left
Ctrl-RightArrow - word right
Home - beginning of field
End - end of line/field
Ctrl-Home - beginning of first field
Ctrl-End - end of last field
Tab - next field
Shift-Tab - previous field

Inserting and Deleting
----------------------

Ins - toggle insert mode
Del - delete character at cursor
BackSpace - delete character left
Ctrl-BackSpace - delete word left
Ctrl-T - delete word right
Ctrl-U - delete to end of field
Ctrl-Y - delete to end of form

Other Editing Keys
------------------

Enter - process current field
F10 - accept changes to BBS information
Ctrl-R - restore current field
Esc - abort data entry

These various menu options will allow you to custom
tailor the colors and borders used by WOMR. Simply
select the option you want to change, and use the arrow
keys or the mouse to change the various color and
border options.

Use the Up and Down arrow keys, PgUp, PgDn, Home
and End to select a particular BBS. Press ENTER to
choose any available sessions for the highlighted
system.

Press "E" to edit the system highlighted on the
right window/menu.

Press "C" to clear the highlighted system's entry.

Using "L" will allow you to create a new/blank directory,
or load one that already exists.

Edit the BBS information, and press F10 when done
to save any changes. Press ESC to abort any changes.
The fields that MUST be entered are BBS Name and
the System ID field. Below is a listing of the
keys available during editing.

Cursor Movement

If you choose "Y", this entry in the directory will be
cleared, and all sessions for this BBS will be deleted!

Open a session:
Select one of the session packets you have downloaded
from the selected BBS. This option will let you choose
a session, and then pass you to the reader screen.

Remove a Session:
Delete one of the sessions on file for the current
BBS.

These are the reader sessions you have on file
for the selected BBS. Use the Up and Down arrow
keys to highlight a reader session and press
ENTER to open that session.

Keys Available:
[F1] Help
[F2] BBS Menu
[F3] Print This Message
[F4] Extract This Message to a File
[F5] View message as ANSI
[F6] Select New Message Area

Use the left and right arrow keys to select the
various options on the menu bar, or press the
highlighted character of the option you wish to use.

Press the Up and Down arrow keys to scroll text in the
message window. Press PgUp and PgDn to scroll the
current message up/down one page.

Also, the Plus and Minus keys on the numeric keypad will
move you forward/backward one message respectively.

Use the Home and End keys to position to the top/bottom
of the current message.

Select "View System News/Announcements" to see the
current logon message for the BBS.

The "New Files" option will be available in a later
version of WOMR.

  2. This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.
