USING ITEMS
ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ
Your character can carry up to 6 items. You use an item (attack with
a weapon, wear armor, or use an item) simply by typing its number (if
you're using the NUMLOCK feature, you must hold the Shift-key and
then hit the number).

You drop an item by using the 'D' command; or take an item by trying
to use an 'empty' item, or by using the 'G' command.

The first weapon in the list is your 'readied' weapon; if you try to
use another, you will instead make that other weapon the readied one.

Your character can be protected by 1 suit of armor, and by 1 shield.
If you have two suits of armor, the lowest-numbered one is the one
used.
