BRIEF OVERVIEW OF PLAY
ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ

For those new to the game VGA Planets, here's a brief synopsis of
how the game is played.

Before each 'event' (when the various player game files are
processed), each player must logon to the BBS and download his or her
PLAYER#.RST (Result) file. The player then logs off the BBS and
extracts the file into the VGA Planets directory on their own system.
Each player then plays his own turns on his own system and when done,
the game will process a PLAYER#.TRN (Turn) file. The .TRN file will
need to be uploaded back to the BBS before the next event.

You can check to see what time the next event will run, when you exit
this program and return to the BBS (on Registered Version only).

So it's: LogOn, Download .RST file, LogOff, Play, LogOn again,
Upload .TRN file, and then repeat the whole process the next day of
play.



MAIN MENU
ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ

Select the number that matches the Race you have chosen or was
assigned to you.

'S' will show you the current VGA Planet's Scores.

'Q' will return you to the BBS.



PASSWORD PROMPT
ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ

As an added protection for your safety, no player can transfer a
game file without entering his or her private password for that
selected race.

Password's may be up to 8 characters in length and can only be
generated or changed by the SysOp.

This password is NOT the same as the password in the game itself,
you can change that password at anytime during game play.



TRANSFER METHOD
ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ

Select whether you would like to Download an .RST file or Upload
your .TRN file.

You may also Select another Race or Quit back to the Main Menu.



TRANSFER PROTOCOL
ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ

Choose which File Transfer Protocol you would like to use to send
or receive the game file. Xmodem, Ymodem, and Zmodem are
available.

Zmodem is recommended as the fastest and most reliable Transfer
Protocol of the three choices.
