141/150: Here's the 99 games for 4.21A

MORE CHNS.. Works on 4.21a. Done by KEN, I THINK... reposted as a request.
Any problems, yell. I DON'T think I had to re-convert my chains.dat file.

Legend-
* changed
+ add
- delete

In BBSUTL1, do the following:
Find void do_chains..
in the variable declarations,
* int map[50],mapp,i,i1,ok,done;
^change 50 to 99

In XINIT, find :

"chains". In ver 4.21a, the "chains" is an extra addition to the
4.21a upgrade. The important thing is to ONLY change the mallocx(50
to mallocx(99 !!!!

* chains=(chainfilerec *) mallocx(99 * sizeof(chainfilerec), "chains");
SAve, and open up CHNEDIT.C. Look for the case 'I' in void chainedit...

case 'I':
- /* if (numchain<50) { */ DELETE this line
nl();
prt(2,"Insert before which? ");

}
- /* } */ DELETE this brace!
break;
case 'D':
nl();
prt(2,"Del which? ");

That's it. Save. I found out who wrote this, anyway. It was Ken @15805,
a Link board. He wrote the mod, I just changed it for 4.21a.
Here it is. Any problems, whatever Bart says goes.

  1. Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!

  2. This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.

  3. But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
