Hi there!
1)
Starting with timEd/B10, it is possible to register timEd (and, if you
can afford it, you should!).
In the hurry to get the new version out, I forgot to add the regforms to
the beta 10 package. So it may not have been all that clear to everybody.
The regforms are now added, and I am telling you in this file, so it
should be clear to everybody now 🙂
==--> Register this program if you like it!
If you don't like it, use some other program.
Please don't force me to use 'registered only features' or even
'registered only versions' of timEd!
Read the docs for more info about all this!
2)
This version of timEd has a lot of new stuff! I added an internal editor
(finally!) and support for the Hudson message base.
Once again, this means that there is a lot of new code in there, and I
will give you the same warning: be careful with the new stuff!
3)
Before B10 was released, there a few public alpha releases (10a, A10b and
A10c). I did that, because several people were waiting for an editor that
supported JAM (timEd was one of the first), and because JAM was so new
(and my regular beta testers didn't use it - they used Squish).
From now on, alpha versions are ONLY available to selected alpha testers,
and are not public anymore!
ONLY beta versions will be released to the public (named TIMBxx.*, where
xx is a number, currently 11).
So, if you ever see a timEd/Axx tearline or PID, it will be an alpha
tester, running a non-public test versions of timEd. There's no need to
try and request it from a distribution site.
4)
The ARTWARE support echo is being carried by more and more nodes! See
support.txt for more info. Contact me or one of the listed sites for
more info, the list is growing rapidly.
ARTWARE is now even available as an Internet mailing list!
