This is a utility door written for ~Bulletin Board Systems That~
Have A ^Tape Drive installed in the system^
The tapes that this drive uses will {hold 40 to 700{ meg of compressed
files.
Tape Door Will allow the system to @store additional files that the caller@
can have |access to|.
`These are the commands that operate the door:`
^(1).^ Is used for this help screen as you well know.
~(2).~ Will view the files that the SysOp has backed up
for the caller to restore. When the second menu appears
press a |(VOLUME NUMBER)| for that particular area.
When you find a file you want remember the volume number
and file name then press S to stop the display
(The SysOp may also have a file area on the bbs that just
has the file names that are on the tape so as to claim the
files and bytes to his ~total system storage~, You may view
this File Area to see what's on the Tape drive.)
@(3).@ This will prompt you for The Volume number of the file you
would like restore then the file name. Tape Door will
check to see if the volume exists and that the file(s)
exists on that volume before the file is restored to the
Hard Disk For you to download.
{(4).{ Pressing this will return you to the bbs.
