Program: STATE.EXE
Author: Chateram Chattergoon
Date compiled: 02/14/92
Version: 1.1
Uses: For TeleGard 2.7 {will not work with pre 2.7 versions of TeleGard}
Files used by STATE: STATUS.DAT, USER.LST
OVERVIEW:
--------
STATE is a utility used to display the home states of all of your users.
This is the quick and dirty version of the program. Since it was
requested by someone on the TG utilities echo, I wanted to get it
out as soon as possible. EXPECT AN UPDATED VERSION SOON!!
OPERATION:
---------
STATE needs STATUS.DAT so it must be accessable by being in the current
directory OR you PATH. When STATE is run it will display the
states it could find in your USER.LST file along with the total
number of callers from that state and a calculated percentage.
NOTE: it does not check to see if a state is valid or not.
That may be available in the next version.
You also have the option to output the display to an ASCII (ANSI will
be available in the next version) file. All you have to do is
specify the output filename on the command line.
EXAMPLES:
---------
STATE (Send output to screen ONLY);
STATE C:\BBS\AFILES\BULLET3.MSG (Send output to screen AND BULLET3.MSG)
CLOSING:
--------
This program is provided "as-is". No warranty is stated nor implied.
Use at you own risk. Although I have tested it myself, I cannot
guarantee anything.
