Output of file : MSG.DOC contained in archive : MKXRS.ZIP
port explaining that the user should wait while MkXrs tosses their
messages/replies.
To use it, just put a line in your batch file prior to the MkXrs line
that looks like:
Msg CommPort
Where you replace CommPort with your comm port number, for example, I
would use:
Msg 1
MkXrs
Hopefully this will help explain what is happening to the user, until
I build some status messages into MkXrs in a later version.
Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!
This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.
But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
