=================================== MakeDIZ version 1.0 =============

This is a very handy little utility for both sysops and authors.
The purpose of this program is to speed up the process of creating
inserting and maintaining the new file description formats that
are being used on most of the larger BBSs in operation today.

MakeDIZ accepts one command line parameter and that is the name
of a .zip file that you want to either edit the current descriptions
or you want to add descriptions to. MakeDIZ searches the current
directory for either a FILE_ID.DIZ or a DESC.SDI file and if one
exists it will load the contents of that file into the editor. If
you give MakeDIZ a .zip file to work with and it contains any desc-
ription files inside it, any descriptions files in the current
directory will be over written and the description from the files
inside the .zip will be loaded into the editor.

This simple straight forward type of operation allows you to do
several things with MakeDIZ, one you can simply create the description
files or edit a set you already have in the current directory without
ever placing them into a .zip file. Two, you can give MakeDIZ the name
of a .zip file and it will automatically add any description files you
save or are in the current directory to the .zip file you specified on
the command line. In other words if you had a FILE_ID.DIZ and a
DESC.SDI in the current directory and started MakeDIZ and give it the
name of a .zip file, then after it pops up, you just exit, it will
add the descriptions that were in the directory to the .zip file.

MakeDIZ is very simple to use and you shouldn't have any problems
with it, however we cannot be held liable for any damages or problems
that you incur from the use of MakeDIZ. In other words it works reliably
here, but we cannot promise it will work for you.

If you use MakeDIZ for a period of 30 days or longer and you find that
you are still using it, you must register it. MakeDIZ is only $10 and
you will feel much better that you are supporting the shareware concept.

If you have any questions or comments, please send them to us at the
address in the registration form. Thank you for using MakeDIZ and
reviewing our product. If you need some custom programming done, please
contact us and we will discuss the details with you.
