There seems to be a bit of confusion regarding the optional REALMS.EXE file
which is used to create your OWN league. This File is generally available for
file requests on many systems, simply FREQ FILES for a complete and
{hopefully} accurate listing. Additionally, Neither You, nor any other
Nodes need be registered to use this program!!

If you are NOT currently running version Dwarz v1.00 then you may skip the
rest of this document which explains the steps in upgrading from this version
to verson 1.05 released Ocotober 6th, 1991.

To upgrade to the latest version FROM 1.00 simply COPY your Player.dat,
System.dat, and Dup.dat to a SAVE directory {incase something goes haywire
during the upgrade!} then run the CONVERT.EXE utility included with this
version. This will modify your data files as necessary and add the CRC
checking capabilities to the DUP.DAT files.

Read Update.asc and History.Asc for details on what has changed since version
1.00 was released a little over a month ago.

Thank you for your interest in DWARZ!

  1. Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!

  2. This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.

  3. But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read:
