The Dragon's Door Menu
Install Docs

Version 5.0, March 1990
Copyright (c) 1990, All rights reserved
by Chester H. Johnson

First you need to figure out how you want to set up your directories. Mine
look something like this:

D:\RBBS\ my main bulletin board directory
\RBBS2\ my second (local) node's main board directory
\DOORS\ my door menu directory
\door1\ my first door program directory
\door2\ my second door program directory
\ect.\

Starting with version 2.2 there is now an easy(er) installation program
included in the archive. To run this program, simply unarchive all the files
into your door menu directory (which you may already have done, since you are
reading this file now) and type 'INSTALL'. Then fill in the information it
asks you for.

Good Luck,
Chester Johnson

  1. Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!

  2. This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.

  3. But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
