Let's take a brand new (empty) hard drive and write some files outto it. First, keep in mind that your system will always attemptto write data to a file in contiguous (consecutive) sectors startingwith the first a
vailable sectors it finds. When data is firstwritten to an empty drive, your system obviously has no troublefinding available contiguous space to write the file. Let's take alook at the result of the writing of 3 files to an
