This program date stamps FILENAME.EXT so that the result is mm/dd/yy.ext.

The program is useful with PCDATA, which is the set of PC Magazine programs
for detecting file changes due to viruses or other causes. I like to keep the
old ))SYS.LOG files for awhile to see what's going on my disk. I use DATSTAMP
in the batch file that scans the disk and makes a LOG file of the changed
files. DATSTAMP renames the existing LOG file to a serially dated file with
a .LOG extention so that it can be archived.
