The QuickBASIC Scrapbook
======================================================================
Welcome to the second issue of QBS! It was released a little
late, but you probably don't mind any more... I have been a
little busy with all my projects, so I wasn't able to release
this QBS until 3-24-93. QBS is a compilation of a whole bunch
of different messages that flow through the Quik_BAS echo.
This issue there has been a change, however. There are eight
different DOC files in the QBS102-?.DOC format. Each one is
about 50K, making it easier to find files in an editor, and
it allows more editors to work on the files. Smart, eh? I
have edited the titles of the messages a bit to reflect what
the message is about (ie, if the message WAS titled HELP!
I changed it to what it was about; I may have missed some)
This compilation started about 2-15-93, so you have one
month of messages stuffed into 400K of text. Remember,
Quantum Software is the one who puts this publication out,
so if you need to contact the author, please look at the
QUANTUM.QBC file for more information on the company. I
welcome all comments. Remember two things: 1) These files are
completely public domain, and the only thing that is
copyrighted to some degree is the IDEA. 2) If you use code
from in here, PLEASE GIVE CREDIT TO THE AUTHOR! Thank you!
Check out the QBCOLLEG.DOC file if you are interested in
learning QuickBASIC. The QuickBASIC College is hosted by
Quantum Software, FergSoft!, and The Programmers BBS.

I can be reached through FidoNetmail at 1:280/5, but I may
move soon, so your best bet is to check the Quik_BAS Echo
and ask what my netmail address is.
Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!
This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.
But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
