Dear SysOp:

Let me introduce our Company: Excess-3 is a new
software company that is dedicated to revolutionize the software
industry. We are developing software in the fields of: DOS
utilities, networking, and programming. Which brings me to the
main point of this letter.

Excess-3 has developed a new BASIC programming language. I
am proud to introduce to you Berlinetta Basic. A BASIC that
functions like, if not better than 'C'. However, what makes
Berlinetta unique is the ability to write memory resident
programs, TSRs, with extreme ease. If your a novice, or an
expert, programmer and always had an application that you wished
was a TSR, now you can write your own. The demo program is
enclosed, so feel free to try it out.

Let me give you an insight on what we want you to do.
Excess-3 would like you to distribute the demo program via your
BBS or through any other means possible. Berlinetta retails for
$189.00, but if any of your subscribers would like to purchase
the full version we will offer it for $100.00 only. From that
$100.00, Excess-3 will pay you $10.00 per copy sold. For you to
get credited for this $10.00, your subscribers must present your
"SysOp Authorization Code", which you will be given, if you wish
to be a part of our company's operation.

I think both of us can benefit from Berlinetta. Once you
have actually use Berlinetta, you will find out what the
potential is. If you have any questions regarding Berlinetta, or
would like to get your "SysOp Authorization Code", please give me
a call at (818) 962-0060. In the meantime keep distributing
Berlinetta's demo version.

Hoping that you'll join our operation.

Sincerely From
EXCESS-3

Nader Al-Aas
Marketing Director.

  1. Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!

  2. This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.

  3. But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
